Italy is one of the most picturesque and fascinating countries in Europe. With a history that stretches back over the course of thousands of years and a culture that has spread worldwide, if you haven’t visited yet you shouldn’t waste any time booking to go and see the sights. The Food

Italian food has become a truly universal phenomenon. From pasta to pizza, Italian cuisine is enjoyed around the world for its rich flavour and hidden health benefits. Most of the buildings are built right up to the water’s edge, something that makes Venice one of the most unique cities you could ever wish to visit.

The Sport

Italy boasts a rich history in this area and if you love your sport, there is plenty to see and do in the country. Football fans can take tours around the stadiums of some of the biggest teams in the world such as Juventus, AS Roma and AC Milan, tickets to games are also very reasonable if you’d like to experience the red-hot atmosphere of the Italian Serie A. Petrolheads, will have the chance to visit the Ferrari F1 team’s headquarters in Maranello or make a pilgrimage to the legendary Monza circuit, 15 kilometres north of Milan.

The Shopping

If you like to think of yourself as a bit of a trend-setter, you will already know that Italy is home to some of the world’s most prominent fashion houses such as, Gucci, Armarni, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana. The country is seen as one of the fashion capitals of the world and it’s no surprise in this case that there are enough clothing outlets in all the major cities to keep even the most partisan shoppers satisfied. If you’re serious about your fashion, make sure you pay a visit to Milan, where the selection of shops is famously good.
